DAS proceedings are now available online!

We are pleased to announce the successful closure of DAS 2012!
DAS 2012 attracted a huge number of document analysis researchers from all over the world. Delegates from academics as well as industry participated and DAS 2012 witnessed a fruitful exchange of technical expertise. In fact, 131 submissions from researchers of 32 countries were received, which depicts the popularity of DAS. The Program committee Chairs invited 126 international reviewers to review the papers. Finally, 91 papers were accepted for publication by IEEE Conference Publishing Services (CPS). Out of 91 accepted papers, 36 were selected for oral presentation and 55 for poster presentation, along with 13 short papers and 2 demo sessions. These accepted papers cover diverse areas of pre-processing, feature extraction, segmentation, recognition, signature verification, text classification, image retrieval techniques, video document processing, document image decoding, graphical document processing, performance evaluation, historical and handwriting documents, different systems on document analysis etc. The final program consists of seven oral sessions, two poster sessions and one discussion session. Two pre-workshop tutorials were also organized and were delivered by the distinguished speakers.
