The Adventures of Cwrwby H. H."Today I shall explore!" thought Cwrw as he peered out his window. "My it's a beautiful day" He threw on his best hiking leathers and took his sack filled with bits and ends of leftover tidbits and started out into the blue world. He's only gone a leap when before him he saw a tiny crystal lying on a leaf. "What's this he said, pondering his good fortune (for he rarely had good fortune). "Today shall surely be my lucky day!" He brushed back his auburn fur, and headed off to see what could be seen. Cwrw had traveled about an hour and was getting quite tired. He had only spindly legs and they had to work hard to keep him going. He decided to sit on a stump and partake in his tidbits and perhaps take a nap. The sun was warm and soon he closed his little eyes. When he awoke, he felt strange...something was amiss, but what? The stump was there, his tidbits were there, but it was strangly dark. He felt a cool breeze and an odd odor had wafted into his pointy little snoot. A cautious fellow by nature, he thought perhaps he best just head home when all of a sudden a blue fire rose up before him giving poor Cwrw such a scare he almost fell over! He trembled and tried to decide the best direction to run--then he heard a voice, "What ho, My pointy snooted friend! What ho!" Cwrw could hardly believe his eyes. There before him, on the stump, stood a tiny Wizard, no bigger than a thumb! He was wearing a beautiful robe covered with tiny little jewels and carried a scepter with a tiny toad head on the top. Cwrw, not quite so scared, seing his adversary was somewhat small, ventured, "Who-o, a..what, a ..who are YOU!" "I am Delnada, King of the Grim, Lord of the Perspicatious, Ponderer of the Ponders! Bow before me, Insolent one!" To which Cwrw replied, "No". Quite impertanent. "Well, no matter," replied the wee wizard, "Never been one to stand on ceremony, Hee Hee" Then he asked, " And what is your name, Oh ye of pointy snoot?" "Cwrw, tiny Sir" "Cccwhat? What sort of name is that!?, My, my your parents must not have been very fond of you! Perhaps it's due to your overly spindly legs or that precariously pointy snoot! You could knock someone's eye out with that probiscos!" To this, proud Cwrw took offense, "It's Cwrw, sir... pronounced KOO-ROO, and it is an ancient name that connotes a brave and glorious family tradition. I was much loved and my snoot is a proud badge I wear!" "Well Cwrw," the the digit-sized Delnada replied, "We are about to embark on an adventure!"
