Setting up SSH in TerraTerm

SSH is used to login to the remote server.
To enable X11 forwarding in TeraTerm Pro for Windows:

  1. Start Tera Term Pro (start->Programs->Tera Term Pro->Tera Term SSH).

  2. Press cancel to close New Connection dialog.

  3. Select Setup->SSH Forwarding.
     check "Display remote X applications on local X server"
     click OK.

  4. Select Setup->Save setup.
     click save button.

When run you can now start a X windows and it will create a X window
connection to allow you to run X window appliactions o fthe remove system
easilly and securely.  Of course at the time you run a X application
you must also be running a X window emulator like "XWin-32".
