Caves of the Wumpus

A strange mist rises to envelope you completely. The mist is very thick and impossible to see through. A strong wrenching sensation grips you and you feel your insides being tried into knots...

Just as suddenly as the feeling came it vanashes, and the surrounding mist clears to reveal...

7 : Ant Trail

Across the floor of this plain looking cave a trail of giant foot long ants leads from one passage to another. Some of the ants in this cave appear to be carrying what looks to be the meat and bones of some sort of freshly killed animal.

You smell a wumpus....
You feel a draft....

You also find that the torch in your left hand is burning very brightly. In fact, it seems to be a completely new torch and likely to continue to burn strongly for a least a couple of hours.

In your other hand you discover a crossbow already loaded and cocked with a deadly looking bolt. On your back a small quiver is strapped comfortably, in which you find 4 more of the deadly bolts.

You feel that the wumpus is hiding somewhere nearby.

You are in cave 7: ``Ant Trail'', and you are hunting the wumpus with 5 bolts left. Three passages are clearly signed with their destination.
