Caves of the Wumpus

A strange mist rises to envelope you completely. The mist is very thick and impossible to see through. A strong wrenching sensation grips you and you feel your insides being tried into knots...

Just as suddenly as the feeling came it vanashes, and the surrounding mist clears to reveal...

4 : Sparkling Gems

The cave you are standing in, is small but on every wall and crevice you can see thousands of sparking points of light. Looking closer you discover that embedded into the walls are gemstones of every variety you can identify.

Other than that, the torch in your left hand is burning very brightly. In fact, it seems to be a completely new torch and likely to continue to burn strongly for a least a couple of hours.

You hear a distant bell toll, probably notifing the wumpus somewhere nearby of ``dinner''. You better find that exit quickly.

You are in cave 4: ``Sparkling Gems'', and you are being hunted by the wumpus. Three passages are clearly signed with their destination.
